Our client is fast growing tech company with operations in the US as well as Nigeria. They currently have an opening for an experienced Business Development Lead (Software) – Lagos.
They needs a savvy Business Development Lead that will identify new targets and leads to promote sales and improve profitability. The ideal candidate will be committed to identifying and pursuing opportunities to pitch and driving sales on the company platform. The Business Development Lead will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities directly related to business development executive include:
Scheduling sales pitches with potential customers via phone, email, and teleconference
Preparing proposals, pitch decks, and pricing presentations for customer engagements
Executing strategic plans to follow up and onboard new customers
Manage ongoing relationships with existing customers, advising them on the products most suited to their needs
We’re looking for someone with
3+ years of experience in a sales-focused customer/client-facing role, with a track record of top performance
3+ years of experience in sales to Startup users or engagement in Startup community
Ability to understand the company suite of products, APIs and build great relationships with customers
Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities including comfort with basic modeling
Strong interest in technology and products
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
