CHIL Femtech Center, a subsidiary of CHIL AI Lab Group, has unveiled a new technology that aims to revolutionize and significantly improve healthcare services for students in African schools. The product is expected to bridge the gap caused as a result of the lack of stationed doctors, which is a prevalent problem in over 80% of schools across Africa. By utilizing the new technology, students can access full-time online doctors, providing a convenient and affordable option for seeking medical care.
To accomplish this goal, CHIL Femtech Center has collaborated with telemedicine equipment manufacturers that have compatible technologies with the center’s Telemedicine Artificial Intelligence chatbot. If a student becomes ill, the partnering school will act as a guarantor for the student, and the fee will be paid back by the school at the end of the term.
The product offers various services which include e-consultation that allow students to receive medical consultation from one of the 175 online doctors available. The product also has an e-referral feature, where a student can be referred to a partner laboratory, and e-pharmacy, where prescribed drugs can be ordered online and delivered to the school. The innovative aspect of the product is that students can access these services, and the school can pay back later.
Shamim Nabuuma Kaliisa, the co-founder, and CEO of CHIL Femtech Center expressed her delight about the product’s launch in Tanzania and the potential it has to improve health and well-being in schools across Africa. The company believes that its new product will positively impact the healthcare industry and schools, providing students with quality healthcare services.
“We are thrilled to launch this product in Tanzania and bring this game-changing solution to schools across Africa,” Shamim said.
“Our goal is to help improve the health and well-being of students by providing them with access to quality health care services. We believe this product will have a positive impact on schools and the health care industry as a whole.”
CHIL Femtech Center’s commitment to providing exceptional customer support and continuous improvement to its product ensures that schools have access to the best technology in the market.
The company will begin the rollout of the product in Tanzania, then Kenya and Uganda, with plans to expand its reach to the entire African continent by 2025.
