Job Summary

We seek a creative and results-driven Product Marketing Associate to join our team. This role is integral in developing and executing marketing strategies that highlight the value of PVB, effectively addressing the needs of business owners. The ideal candidate will create compelling product messaging, launch strategies, and educational content while managing social media and conducting research to identify market opportunities.

Job Description:

  1. Product Message: Develop compelling product messaging that resonates with business owners, especially the value of PVB and how it solves their pain points.
  2. Launches & Features: Create strategies for new launches and feature releases, working closely with the Product and Merchant Success teams to ensure alignment and market readiness.
  3. Content Creation: Produce high-quality content that educates, informs, and nurtures leads, including blog posts, case studies, webinars, email campaigns, and product documentation. Focus on demonstrating how PVB solves business financial challenges.
  4. Social Media Management: Manage all of PVB’s social media accounts, create content targeting business owners, and teach them how best to use the product.
  5. Research: Research to understand market trends, customer pain points, and competitor positioning. Use these insights to refine product messaging and identify growth opportunities.
  6. Campaigns: Create targeted campaigns that drive acquisition. Use inbound and outbound strategies to nurture prospects through the funnel and increase conversions.
  7. Product Resources: Create product resources like hows and FAQs to educate customers and address common questions.
  8. Team Collaboration: Work with the merchant support team to identify and highlight customer success stories. Create testimonials, case studies, and reference materials to build trust.
  9. Reporting: Measure and report on the effectiveness of product marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data to refine strategies and improve outcomes.

 

Requirements

  1. A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience working with a B2B brand and a deep understanding of business marketing strategies and practices.
  3. At least 4 years of experience in marketing, with at least 1-2 years within the financial services or fintech industry. Specific experience with business banking products is a huge added advantage.
  4. Strong experience and understanding of social media marketing and email marketing campaigns.
  5. Proficient in using customer engagement platforms such as Customer.io or similar tools.
  6. Exceptional writing and communication skills and ability to create compelling marketing resources like FAQ, knowledge base, and video tutorials.
  7. Hands-on experience planning and executing marketing campaigns targeted at businesses, with strong analytical skills to interpret data, measure campaign performance, and make data-informed marketing decisions.
  8. Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and willing to work closely with the Product team, Sales, Merchant Support, and the rest of the Marketing team to ensure messaging aligns with business objectives.
