Google plans 200 free WiFi hotspot locations across 5 cities in Nigeria

Tech giants, Google has announced its plan to launch 200 free WiFi hotspot locations across 5 cities in Nigeria by the end of 2019 via their Google Station program.

This was made known by Google’s Country Director for Nigeria Juliet Chiazor at a Conference and Exhibition organised by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

“Google Station will be rolling out in 200 locations in five cities across Nigeria by the end of 2019, bringing Wi-Fi to millions of people. The sites will include markets, transport hubs, shopping malls, universities and more,” Juliet said.
