9mobile Partners with Gravitas to Deploy Exclusive Fibre Support To Lekki

Gracefield Island to become a cosmopolitan smart-city

9mobile telecommunications company is deploying exclusive fibre support to Gracefield Island in the Lekki axis of Lagos. The fibre deployment will deliver world-class internet infrastructure to residents and businesses in the area for all digital communication purposes.

Acting Managing Director of 9mobile, Stephane Beuvelet, said the company is partnering with Gravitas, a property development and telecom infrastructure company for the service. While speaking with newsmen, Beuvelet the exclusive service will turn Gracefield Island into an integrated cosmopolitan smart-city of 25,000 residents with unrivalled telecoms experience and access.

“9mobile will provide fibre backbone infrastructure and internet that enables world-class communications across fixed voice and data services including triple play and dual play,” Beuvelet revealed. “Other services to be provided through 9mobile’s fibre backbone infrastructure include Internet of Things (IoT) for security, surveillance, fleet tracking, smart home solutions, smart metering and intelligent utility.”

Gracefield Island is currently being developed by Gravitas on reclaimed land at the prestigious Lekki along the Lagos shoreline. It is purposed to be an exclusive island where world-class utilities and technological services will be deployed for inhabitants and businesses who aim to operate in a serene and natural atmosphere.
