Application opens for B2B Startup Wise Guys accelerator program

Startup Wise is inviting B2B SaaS startups in East and West Africa to join the Wise Guys SaaS acceleration program starting in October 2022.

The program includes hands-on learning in business development, fundraising, product development, pitching, and even access to the digital marketing expertise of Aleph Group.

Startup Wise is one of Europe’s oldest and most experienced startup accelerators. The accelerator runs its program targeting different continents and different sectors.

Founded in Tallinn, Estonia in 2012, Startup Wise Guys manages SaaS accelerator programmes out of Milan as well as cybersecurity programmes from Cosenza. The company has so far worked with more than 500 founders, made more than 235 startup investments, seen five exits, and achieved an overall startup survival and success rate above 77 per cent.

Applications have opened for the second edition of the Startup Wise Guys accelerator, which offers selected B2B Saas startups to access to EUR65,000 (US$71,000) in funding, as well as an intensive five months of mentorship.

Companies working in English-speaking startups from across Africa are encouraged to apply, with the committee giving particular focus to Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda. Fintech, agri-tech, ed-tech, clean-tech, e-health and retail-tech are preferred.

The accelerator has helped over 600 founders and startups in its portfolio to raise €213 million, connecting them to over 350 mentors and 200 investors.

African B2B SaaS startups with initial traction should apply for the Wise Guys SaaS program.

The application closes on August 25, 2022.
