As with most Smartphones, battery power doesn’t always last as much as we’ll like, the Infinix Zero 5 is no exception.

User are fazed with a general problem of saving battery by maximizing its use and making sure their phone’s battery last reasonably long.

In this article, we will provide tips on how you can optimize your Zero 5 battery use and make it last longer.

1. Know Your Infinix Zero 5 Battery Capacity

Although a lot of users know about this, some do not have any idea about their battery’s capacity. Knowing your phone’s battery capacity will tell you how heavy you can use it and this will be very essential when you try to conserve some percentages. For example, a phone like the Infinix Zero 5 with a 4350mAh capacity is stronger than that with a 2500mAh capacity, so the man with a 4350-capacity battery will perform heavier tasks compared to that with 2500mAh.

2. Optimize Your Brightness Level

Phone’s brightness is a silent killer of battery. The more times your phone’s brightness is dim, the lower the rate of battery usage.

One other thing to do is to manually control the brightness of your phone by turning off adaptive brightness from settings because sometimes when you’re outdoor your phone might automatically take the brightness level to 100% even if you have no intention of doing so. So keep your brightness in check.

3. Background Apps

You probably do not know that the Facebook app on your phone most times run in the background without you even starting it. A lot more other apps too take the phone’s battery silently by working underground without you even realising.

The best way to manage this is to either manually kill background apps by force stopping them, using a third-party app like Greenify to do the job for you or simply don’t download such apps at all. Also, we recommend Greenify because it’s the best app to do the job and not those other whack apps like clean master and DU Battery Saver that actually slows down your phone and hey, this isn’t a Greenify advert.

4. Sound And Notification Management

Another thing that sucks your battery is sounds and vibrations from notifications. Some folks have WhatsApp sound and vibration notification turned on and get a beep every time they get a message.

This is unhealthy for your battery, most especially the vibration. I personally would recommend you turning off this setting or at least killing off vibrations totally.

Still, about sound, it’s better to use a headset while listening to music and watching videos instead of your phone’s speaker, this will go a long way in saving your battery.

5. Data, Network And Connection

There’s nothing that zaps your battery life as fast as data connection. So this part is pretty simple, turn off your data network when not in use.

Also, the location being turned on is another battery killer although it doesn’t take as much as data network. Apps like Google Map, Waze and even Camera may require your connection being turned on for certain tasks and this kills your battery so it’s better to turn it off anytime it’s not in use.

To do this, navigate to Settings > Network > Location and turn it off. Or simply slide down your navigation bar from the status bar and turn location off.

For a fact, battery life is mainly down to your usage. A heavy user experience more rapid battery draining that light to an average user. You don’t expect a chronic gamer and social media addict to maximize his battery better than a lad who’s only use for his phone is to make and receive calls and texts. Usage is the major factor and it should be checked.
